Kiss my Wounds
Laura and Jan have turned their backs on their turbulent lives in Berlin and moved to a farm in the Black Forest. After three years of silence, a conflict-ridden reunion of four former close friends takes place against a wintry backdrop.
After three years of silence, former best friends Maria, Laura and Jan meet up again on a lonely farm in the Black Forest. They used to mix up the Berlin art scene with a passion for partying. Laura and Jan have now turned their backs on their stagnating careers and are working on fulfilling their dream of living in the country. But reality catches up with the couple: running a farm means above all work - from morning to night, seven days a week. They can barely keep their heads above water. Kathi, Maria's sister, also lives on the farm. Severely affected by her illness, she increasingly withdraws into nature. With Maria's arrival, the fragile relationships on the farm become increasingly unbalanced and the deep-seated conflicts between the former group of friends can no longer be suppressed.
Set against the wintry backdrop of the Black Forest, KISS MY WOUNDS uses only improvised scenes and dialog to tell the story of shattered dreams, hidden longings, existential fears and the meaning of friendship.
